Research and statistics prove that by expanding your circle of friends or network that the opportunity for meeting a potential partner is increased. Therefore, if you are fed-up with dating sites here is an opportunity for you to meet people in a relaxed, friendly and more natural setting. Formed in January 2008 Clwb Cinio Cyfle is proving a huge success with current members. We must stress that Clwb Cinio Cyfle is not a dating or introduction agency. We are a social club with an opportunity for fun evenings and events on a regular basis.
The Concept
Clwb Cinio Cyfle (Opportunities Dinner Club) is a new way in Gwynedd to make friends, expand your social circle or network by bringing single people of the same age range and with similar interests together over dinner. Making new friends should be a richly rewarding experience, but often, when you are single and tied to the home or have a demanding job, there's little opportunity to expand beyond your immediate social circle. CCC is therefore the ideal way to meet people in a relaxed, friendly and unpressurised manner.
If you are single and fall into any of the following categories:
- Single – over 25
- Wish to expand your social circle

- Live a pressurised busy professional life with little or no time to make new contacts;

How the Club started
Originally the idea came following a conversation with friends. The idea was revived in June 2006 during a conversation with an attractive, single person, employed in a professional capacity for a large public body – the words “it’s so difficult finding OPPORTUNITIES to meet people” were a surprise. These words, along with the obvious need to bring people together, gave the impetus to act on the original idea. It is important to note that whilst relationships may be formed between our members we are neither a dating nor introduction agency.
How it works
Firstly you must register and pay a one-off registration fee. Membership will be renewed either six monthly or annually with a six monthly or annual membership fee. Dinners and other events are organised in different locations and members will be responsible for the cost of meals or events.
